Every year, Tema Sinergie renews its commitment to the community by donating the sum allocated to traditional Christmas gifts to one or more charities that work every day to improve the lives of those most in need.
For Christmas 2024, we have decided to donate the amount of € 15,000 to a single organization: A.G.O.P. ONLUS, the Pediatric Oncology Parents Association based in Rome, which since 1977 has dedicated itself with passion to supporting children and adolescents affected by oncological diseases and their families.
Our decision to support A.G.O.P. ONLUS comes from sharing deep values: care, solidarity and attention towards the most vulnerable people. This association represents an essential point of reference for many families who find themselves facing one of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through their projects and initiatives, A.G.O.P. not only provides practical and psychological support, but also creates a real network of human warmth and closeness.
“Casa a Colori”: a refuge for families
One of the most significant projects of A.G.O.P. ONLUS is the Casa a Colori in Rome, a structure that offers free accommodation to pediatric cancer patients and their families during periods of treatment. Specifically, it is a 1600 m2 structure on five levels with 20 mini-apartments, an infirmary, a rehabilitation gym, a multimedia room, a bioenergetic garden and much more to guarantee children and their families a protected space to reduce hospitalization times to a minimum and recreate the warmth of a family nest.
For 2025, the association aims to further implement the services offered by Casa a Colori, making it even more functional and welcoming. This place is not just a home, but an environment where you can find comfort, support and moments of serenity during this painful and complex journey. All these initiatives allow you to temporarily suspend the hospital routine and do so in a protected context, with the presence of specialized medical and nursing staff.
The A.G.O.P. ONLUS world: initiatives and projects
In addition to Casa a Colori, A.G.O.P. ONLUS promotes many initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of young patients and their families. Among these:
- Psychological and care support: Personalized support paths to deal with the emotional and practical difficulties related to the disease.
