Tema Sinergie introduces CRP Compact Plus, the new version of the well-known and consolidated radiopharmaceutical dispenser specific for vials with Push-Fit caps.

CRP Compact is one of our most widespread and acknowledged solutions in the radiopharmaceutical production branch.

Among the several GMP sites that have chosen CRP Compact, its dispensing precision and speed of set-up are definitely some of the most appreciated features. However what made it such a unique tool for the GMP dispensing processes is undoubtedly its flexibility, something that’s been enhanced and strengthened even more by the Plus version, which adds to CRP’s wide range of use also the chance of processing vials with a push-fit capping system.

Flexibility to the nth degree thanks to the push-fit closure system

Anyone who’s had the opportunity to use CRP Compact in their production site knows that the system poses virtually no restrictions whatsoever concerning the list of dispensable radiopharmaceuticals.

There are also no limits regarding the choice of model and size of the vial. CRP Compact can process the majority of vials available on the market, allowing the type of vial to be changed even in between two subsequent batches, within the same production cycle.

CRP Compact also represents the ideal choice for all production centers that need to implement specific workflows, CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) companies for instance. In fact, it allows to work with Bulk vials without any volume limits, as well as dispensing both large and micro volumes with great precision. Given the chance to integrate the system with customized disposable kits, CRP becomes basically a universal dispenser which can sort out even the most specific production requirement.

The Plus version amplifies the flexibility of use of the CRP compact even more, thanks to the chance of using a push-fit technology as a vial closing system. An upgrade designed and created to meet the new production needs of GMP radiopharmaceuticals brought into force by EU GMP ANNEX 1, also providing a valuable solution to production centers that wish to implement this vial closure strategy.

Two editions available

CRP Compact is available in two versions characterized by two different vial closing solutions.

CRP Compact, optimized for dispensing radiopharmaceuticals in open vials with rubber stopper and crimped aluminum ring capping. It can as well work with closed vials by adding an optional piercing module.

CRP Compact plus, optimized for dispensing radiopharmaceuticals in open vials with subsequent rubber stopper and crimped aluminum ring or with push-fit capping.

Starting from February 2024, all CRP Compacts are equipped with the predisposition for the installation of the push-fit cap closing system. This makes a possible system upgrade from Compact to Compact Plus extremely easier since there’s no need for any invasive mechanical interventions.
