SAFEFLOW is a Class II, Grade A GMP biohazard safety cabinet featuring vertical laminar airflow across the entire work surface and various shielding configurations. It is designed for the manual preparation of injectable doses of radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine.

Maximum protection for the operator and the product

SAFEFLOW is a shielded laminar-flow hood designed to ensure high levels of radiation protection, safety, and sterility during the handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
The unit incorporates lead shielding, a sliding shielded front glass panel, and a laminar flow ventilation system, ensuring the protection of both the operator and the product.
Featuring a work area entirely finished in AISI 316L stainless steel, SAFEFLOW combines durability, ergonomics, and ease of cleaning. Available in two sizes and with various levels of shielding, it adapts to the diverse operational needs of nuclear medicine laboratories.

RADIATION PROTECTION

The lead shielding—with varying thicknesses depending on the location—and the shielded front glass ensure radiation protection in all directions. The overlapping joints help prevent radiation from escaping through the structure.

PRODUCT STERILITY

The laminar flow ventilation system covering the entire work area helps maintain controlled environmental conditions. An antibacterial UV lamp is available as an optional feature.

OPERATIONAL SAFETY

An integrated alarm system alerts the operator to any potentially hazardous conditions by displaying text messages on the LCD screen, allowing the operator to identify the alerts.

ERGONOMICS AND ACCESSIBILITY

The design provides access to the entire work area and allows you to work while seated. The internal layout also makes maintenance and cleaning easier.

CONFIGURATION FLEXIBILITY

Available in Standard and Large sizes, with shielding ranging from 5 to 50 mm Pb, SAFEFLOW can be configured to meet specific laboratory requirements.
