Installation and Validation

Certifications that create value.

We accompany and support our clients throughout the entire process of installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of our systems, guiding them through the various phases of Computerized System Validation (CSV).

We coordinate technical activities, prepare specifications and validation protocols for FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ, and develop documentation tailored to the client’s requirements and specific needs.

Installation and Validation

Service Objectives

Ensure a structured and traceable qualification and validation process that is consistent with the system’s intended use, while optimizing the time, resources, and costs associated with validation activities.

Documenting Compliance with Requirements

We verify and document that plants, machines, and systems are manufactured, installed, and configured in accordance with the agreed-upon specifications and their intended use, providing the customer with clear and traceable evidence.

Simplify the validation process

We coordinate the development of protocols, documentation, and audits, working closely with and supporting the client at every stage of the validation process.

Support audits and inspections

We provide our customers with a comprehensive, structured, and traceable set of documents that compiles all information related to the machine and the tests performed, to support inspections and the validation and qualification of the production site.

Installation and Validation

Service Description

We support our customers at every stage: from installation and commissioning to the qualification of plants, machines, and systems.

REMOTE-FAT-1-scaled-1

We begin by analyzing the User Requirements Specification (URS), develop the functional specifications (FS), hardware specifications (HDS), and software specifications (SDS), and prepare the documentation package.

We define the protocols and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests ( SAT), supporting the subsequent Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and, where applicable, Performance Qualification (PQ).
Upon request, we customize validation protocols based on the machine’s configuration and the client’s User Requirements Specification (URS).

Our risk-based approach aligns with GAMP 5 guidelines and the applicable requirements of GMP Annex 11 and Annex 15, and includes verification of equipment, hardware functionality, automation systems, and software functionality.

For computerized systems, documentation and verification are defined based on criticality and intended use and may include software functionality, access controls, data flows and integrity, alarms, backups, and recovery.

The result is a structured and traceable process, from the initial requirements to the final documentation package.

Installation and Validation

How It Works

We manage every project through a structured and traceable process, from the initial analysis through to the delivery of the final set of documents.

Each phase is developed in collaboration with the client to ensure quality, compliance, and full adherence to requirements.

Request Information

01

Requirements Analysis

We collect and review the customer's specifications, analyze the machine's characteristics, and identify the relevant technical, software, and documentation aspects.

Together, we define tasks, responsibilities, required documents, and applicable standards.

02

Preparation of Documentation

We prepare the specifications required by the project and compile the documentation related to the machine and third-party components.

We document the software configuration, functions, data flows, access rights, alarms, and interfaces.

03

Preparation and Sharing of Protocols

We prepare the FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and, where applicable, PQ protocols, and discuss with the client the tests to be performed and the corresponding acceptance criteria.

04

Conducting Validation Protocols at the Factory

We perform factory acceptance tests (FAT) to verify the system's compliance and proper operation before delivery to the customer.

05

Installation

We install and configure the solution at the customer's site, verifying connections, utilities, hardware and software components, and operating conditions before completing the qualification process.

06

Conducting validation and qualification protocols at the customer's site

We perform on-site acceptance tests (SAT) and IQ, OQ, and, where applicable, PQ qualification activities, verifying the correct installation, operation, and performance of the system prior to the final delivery of the machine, system, or device.

Validation and documentation are not merely formalities; they are functional components of the installed system.
